In Friesland , on the farm of her parents, Fonny found a love for animals that never changed.
Animals, which sometimes include a human trait, therefore are patrons in its art. For the surface of her paintings she uses old lived wood. Intuitively, she tucks the shapes of the animals to the grain of the old wood. For optimal harmony tries ruggedness and details, such as nail holes, knots and old paint to merge with the painted animals.
